Hello/Hola! I am a feisty American woman living in Bilbao, Spain until the summer of 2014. I am working on a system implementation with my company through early 2015 and will be bouncing around a bit. This, naturally, creates a bit of a challenge for finding someone to settle down with. Nonetheless, I find that it's time to start looking to the next phase of my life and I hope that will include someone special to spend it with.

I am an adventurous, understanding, independent woman looking for similar qualities in a man. I was married once, for a number of years, and have since been divorced for nearly a decade. I thought I wouldn't want to marry again...not because it was terrible, just because it didn't much suit me. But now, life is different, I am different, and I know now what I want and would consider marriage again if all was right with the world. Then again, i'd be delighted just to find a great guy to have some adventures with.

What am I looking for? I'm looking for my hero. He's a stealthy hero, though, one who confidently balances between letting me fight my battles and knowing just when I need a wing-man. And, sometimes, he's downright chivalrous. He's always on my side, even when we disagree vehemently, and he has the capacity to trust the same in me. He is also independent, faithful, charismatic, and has a great sense of humor. He is not a control freak but is protective of those he cares about. He's self-confident, a capable lover, and understands that sometimes I just need a hot bath and some good conversation to wrap up my day.

I can appreciate that my situation is difficult. I may very well be traveling quite a lot even beyond my stay here in Bilbao, Spain but I think the right guy is out there and just maybe he can travel with me or we can otherwise make it work.

It's risky but... flying somewhere neither person has been and touring for the day. Of course, there would be down time to get to know each other but doing something new. Or maybe, doing something more extreme - skydiving, learning to climb, etc...
