A good first date allows for conversation but at the same time takes some of the focus off you so that you’re not under pressure to talk incessantly. Traveling alone. Just to go somewhere I've never been, perhaps out of the country. To be able to do what I wanted without having to worry about waiting for others to be ready or to agree on what we'd do for the day. I'd just like to wander around, strike up conversations with strangers and really experience a far away place away from the context of anyone I knew. To be a stranger in a strange land, if you will.

My idea of fun: Anything and everything that involves people (men, women, children or dogs) who bring laughter to my life. One of my best days involved nothing more than four little neighbor granddaughters sitting on my deck with their mouths wide open like baby birds ... waiting for that next squirt of whipped cream. Plus their dog who cleaned up the messes made. You do not need "things" to create a fun day. All you need is a good attitude and good people.
