What can I tell you about me...I like hot baths, wine and sunshine, and I hate pretentiousness, flying ants, and people who take up two seats on the train. I still hold the record at my secondary school for the fastest run around the cross country track, but people who obsess about their sport of choice scare me. Actually the most regular contact I have with sport nowadays is falling asleep to Match of the Day - it is so relaxing.

I have no hobbies as such but the world fascinates me. Most of the books I am reading at the moment are non-fiction as my curiosity takes me from Greek mythology, to architecture, and back again, via Paris, I love Paris. This curiosity leaves me feeling I still have lots to achieve...I will learn French, scuba dive, and get to Thailand, eventually.

Career wise I am happy, the role somehow found me, but I love what I do and am happy with where I am at the moment. I work hard and my job is very important to me, but it does not define me and is not the most important thing in my life.

I say modern courtship is rubbish, firstly because it is a great Blur reference, but also because it is truly bizarre that we can now search for a potential 'soul mate' whilst sitting on the sofa in our pajamas! Don't panic, I'm wearing a black dress and heels really...
